Kyotanba sells mainly roasted chestnuts and other products from Tanba, an area northwest of Kyoto City famous for its agricultural produce, and its signature product, "Yakipon," is made with an improved version of the old-fashioned grain-puffing machine, using only carefully selected chestnuts, and roasted to a fragrant, sweet flavor. It is healthy because it is additive-free, maintaining the natural flavor. The chestnuts can be easily removed from their shells. Please enjoy the full flavor of the natural chestnuts.

As the "Tanba" in the store name implies, Tanba chestnuts are on display in the store in autumn. The peeled chestnuts are especially popular.

Only premium Japanese black soybeans are used 100%. This black bean tea is carefully roasted by craftsmen using a "special pressure method" unique to Kyotanba to preserve the umami, aroma, and flavor.

By applying special pressure to black soybeans grown with great care in a favorable climate, we have brought out their original and unique flavor, aroma, richness, and savory taste.
