This sembei (rice crackers) and dango (rice dumplings) shop is located just inside the west entrance of Nishiki Market. They stick to the traditional method of making sembei. Domestic sticky rice is steamed and pounded into rice cakes, which are then baked with a soy-sauce-based sauce made with a secret recipe. The most popular products are mochi rice crackers made from 100% domestic sticky rice, nure-okaki (rice crackers with a chewy inside), and dango made of sticky rice.

The rice crackers baked in the store are coated with soy sauce and topped with shichimi (seven spices), nori (seaweed), and other toppings. They are kept heated and sold piece by piece. It is a rare treat to be able to eat rice crackers while they are still warm.

Nure-okaki, which has a chewy, rice cake-like texture inside, is popular for its uniqueness.
In addition to the classic mitarashi (sweet soy sauce), the dango are available with other flavors and ingredients such as sweet potato, yuzu citrus, chestnut, and sakura, depending on the season.
